Q: Where can I get touchup paint for outside my unit?
A: If your phase is under warranty, call Kevin and ask him to add you to the list of touchup tasks for Intracorp. If you are in Phases 1, 2, or 3, get a quart mixed at a store that carries Benjamin Moore paints. (For the paint codes, see this page.) Bear in mind that any touchups will produce a polka dot effect of darker splotches on the lighter, faded backgrounds.

Q: My mortgage lender is demanding proof of flood insurance. Do I have it? How do I prove it?
A: All Meadowview residents have flood insurance coverage under the MVHOA master policy. You should not be surprised if your lender nags you every year for proof of coverage. To obtain it, call Brent Ward State Farm at 425-485-7303 and ask that they fax a copy of "the dec page" (the declaration page) to your lender. To do that, they will need your name, street address, loan number, name on the loan, and fax number of your lender. Alternately, you can stop by the agency office at 14623 NE N. Woodenville Way, Suite 203, in Woodinville and request the information in person.

Q: Lots of shrubs along 160th and 90th have been dead for a long time. Why haven't they been replaced? A:
The evergrens that are now everbrown are part of the Phase 4 landscaping install. Those plantings were under a one-year warranty and will be replaced. Shamrock is waiting until the weather cools down to replace the failed flora.

Q: Kids from outside Meadowview are riding their bikes on the grass and throwing rocks at the buildings. I'm worried that they'll cause property damage. Can I make them leave? A:
Yes. Meadowview Village is private property, so the only people who have a right to be here are owners and their explicit guests.
If you're a grownup, you'll probably feel fairly comfortable approaching children, asking them where they live, explaining that they are trespassing on private property, and escorting them off the grounds. If you encounter resistance, inform the children that you will immediately call the police to remove them, then do it. Call the non-emergency number (425-504-3400) and explain to the dispatcher that you are in Meadowview Village and would like for them to remove resistant trespassers.

Q: What ordinance says we need annual fire inspections? A:
The City of Redmond requires that Meadowview conduct annual fire detection equipment inspections.
The mandate falls under the Redmond Community Development Guide, Section 20E.100.10-060, which requires that multifamily fire detection systems be maintained in accordance with the Redmond Fire Department Standards.
RFD Standard Section 9.7.3.3 mandates that our fire control panels be checked at least twice a year, and that heat detectors, smoke detectors, and sprinkler monitor elements be tested at least once a year.
More details on these codes can be found on the Redmond City Web site.
